The Blue Cherry Group Affiliate Marketing Manager will work within our integrated client teams managing a portfolio of affiliate marketing programs and delivering strong business results. 

The ideal candidate will have three to five years of work experience in digital affiliate marketing, or other relevant base of experience with the basics of affiliate marketing. We seek an individual who is self-motivated and a skilled collaborator with a positive outlook, who is eager to support the BCG vision and mission and share and apply their knowledge as they are learning. Passion for digital marketing and the advertising industry is important.


 Job description and duties

  • Develop affiliate marketing strategies in accordance with client goals, create and oversee plan for execution; understand financial implications of account strategies
  • Oversee daily servicing of affiliate marketing programs, set up network accounts for new clients, review and approve newsletters, create promo calendars, review account audits, ensure premium placements during key seasons
  • Oversee and monitor client performance goals, pitch new opportunities to improve account performance, send client correspondence
  • Lead client status calls as main point of contact, coordinate day-to-day troubleshooting • Main point of contact for network reps and publishers
  • Oversee and take active role in affiliate recruitment
  • Analyze, review and summarize weekly reports and send to clients; prepare qualitative and quantitative analyses as requested
  • Collaborate closely with team members and communicate to team management on account status, timelines, and results
  • Research and share emerging industry concepts and new offerings; participate in internal trainings and industry events as appropriate
  • Manage, oversee, and develop affiliate marketing analyst; develop highly-functioning team including training and interviewing; conduct regular performance management; support the BCG vision and mission
  • Develop a strong understanding of client's business through active research
  • Stay up to date in relevant industry certifications
  • Maintain a steady learning curve toward the knowledge and skill set of advanced roles

PROFESSIONAL skills and qualifications

  • 3-5 years experience in affiliate marketing OR 3-5 years experience in digital marketing with a strong understanding of affiliate marketing from other related positions
  • Bachelors degree with solid educational background in critical thinking, quantitative analysis, and writing
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with Google Analytics
  • Strong leadership and mentorship skills
