Blue Cherry Group is seeking a Paid Search Coordinator to join our team. This position will work closely with our integrated client teams supporting day-to-day management of search campaigns and delivering strong business results. This is an entry-level position within the Search department.

 The ideal candidate will have  three to six months experience working with Paid Search, Display, and Shopping campaigns, or a good base of experience with the basics of Search advertising. We seek an individual who is self-motivated and a skilled collaborator, with a positive outlook, who is eager to share and apply their knowledge as they are learning. Passion for digital marketing, search, and the advertising industry is important.

 Job Description & Duties:

  • Support the development and optimization of campaign components including keywords, copy, account structure for client Keyword campaigns, Display campaigns, and Shopping campaigns

  • Support search managers in managing budgets toward performance goals

  • Provide recommendations and assist in executing strategies for keyword opportunities, campaign structuring, targeting, display network, and other facets of Paid Search in accordance with client goals

  • Research and write targeted search and banner ad copy

  • Optimize shopping feeds

  • Compile data from multiple sources and generate routine reports with insightful analysis of client account data and trends, areas of risk and opportunity

  • Prepare ad-hoc reports in response to client and internal questions and requests

  • Communicate to team and Management on project development, timelines, and results

  • Collaborate closely with other account managers and team members

  • Actively engage in understanding of search and digital marketing landscape through participation in internal training programs

  • Maintain a steady learning curve toward the overall account manager knowledge and skill set

Professional Skills & Qualifications:


  • Three to six months of Search Engine Marketing (SEM) experience or internship, or a strong understanding of search marketing from other previous positions

  • Bachelors degree with solid educational background in critical thinking, quantitative analysis, and writing

  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel

  • Experience with Google AdWords and Google Analytics


  • Experience with other online marketing and PPC tools and processes, such as:

  • Google Merchant Center

  • Google Webmaster Tools

  • Google Tag Manager

  • Bing Ads

  • Bing Shopping

  • Google Sponsored Promotions

  • AdWords Scripts

  • Facebook Product Listing Ads

  • Google Certifications, a plus

  • Experience with third-party bidding software, such as Marin, Kenshoo, or DoubleClick

  • Experience with real-time bidding software, such as TheTradeDesk
